Radio24syv is one of Denmarks biggest talk radio stations. The channel is moving more and more towards written journalism content and they needed a platform that could support this change in direction, without losing their radio listeners.
We started by asking ourselves a fundamental question: How can we take content that’s consumed in the background, like a podcast, and combine it with content that demands your attention, like a news article. We created a solution that lets you consume the two simultaneously.
– The new website achieved a new visitor record with over 299K monthly active users in 2017
– The month before switching the new website the old website only had an average of 178K monthly visitors (around 40% increase)
– Time spend on Radio 24syv website increased by almost 300%.
– Bounce rate dropped from 26% to 6%
