As a digital concierge, the AeroGuest app assists the guest throughout the entire journey of the hotel stay, with everything from easy access to hotel navigation, check-in times, wifi access and breakfast hours to tailored offers and experiences at and around the hotel. The AeroGuest app also makes the hotel experience more seamless by providing the possibility of remote check-in and out, allowing the guest to skip the lobby queue and go straight to the room.
Not only the hotel guests benefit from the AeroGuest solution. The remote check-in and out creates a better guest flow by directing a portion of the guests pass the lobby, thus easing the pressure on hotel staff at rush hour. Furthermore, the receptionists are provided with knowledge about estimated arrival time of hotel guests, which allows them to time cleaning of rooms more efficiently.
AeroGuest is becoming a reality in close collaboration with Brøchner Hotels and has been launched and is available for use at Hotel Danmark and also just recently at Cabinn Metro as well. These hotels are first movers and the services AeroGuest provides is a new approach to a visit to the hotels. And with many more hotels in Copenhagen and in the pipeline AeroGuest is now looking towards international expansion.
AeroGuest has been running just three months at Hotel Danmark but already now 30% of the arriving guests are downloading, signing up and using the app during their stay. With the latest design having just been introduced, with new initiatives and guests becoming increasingly accustomed to the connected hotel experience user conversion is expected to climb significantly.
AeroGuest provides an extra service with the hotels most loyal guests (frequent visitors) and provides the possibility to upsell even when the guests are not at the hotel or in contact with staff (24hour “access” to guests). Another upside for the hotels is the apps potentials to gather valuable information about guests (data). It also helps the hotels to create a more efficient guest- and work flow and gives information about guest arrival time and directing a portion of guest traffic pass the reception and directly to their room and unlocking the door through BLE door lock integration.
