Adnami solves a problem that has held the digital ad market back for many years: the widespread lack of high impact ad formats. Traditionally, advertisers have broadly had access to only a limited range of formats, which tend to look the same and provide little opportunity to stand out on a crowded web page.

Research shows that high impact ads, such as wallpapers, skins and large-scale scrollers, deliver 10x better performance than standard ad formats. Up until now, where such formats have been available at all, they have been fragmented across publishers, and the lack of standardization has meant that creative production has always been highly complex.

For advertisers, this has resulted in an inability to trade high impact campaigns directly with publishers in a truly programmatic way, with transparency of delivery and overall control. For publishers, who have long struggled against the power of big tech to hoover up advertising dollars, high impact ads have been a desirable goal but a tough nut to crack due to their production challenges.

Adnami has reversed this market failure and brought to market a full set of easily-accessed, high impact ad formats. Our achievement has been to democratise high impact technology, to facilitate direct programmatic transactions between buyers and sellers, and to help brands stand out by giving them access to eye-popping creative opportunities, ready to run at the click of a button.

Solution

Adnami’s proprietary solution enables simple production of high impact ads, standardizes high impact advertising formats across digital media properties and transacts seamlessly within standard programmatic platforms. We don’t sell media, but we act as a bridge, allowing high impact advertising spend to be transacted through the leading marketing platforms.

To brands, we offer programmatic execution of formats such as wallpapers, skins and scrollers for the first time, enabling them to deliver eye-catching, thumb-stopping digital advertising amongst hyper-relevant content in a way that stands out and demands users’ attention, driving impact and action. We also represent a single access point to a certified network of premium publishers.

To the publishers themselves, we have handed a richer inventory of formats while also stripping out intermediaries, reconfiguration and time-consuming admin from the process of high impact ad delivery, allowing them to offer the best formats straight to brands and allowing them to increase their yield per page.

To both, we offer a powerful recipe for advertising effectiveness, with scalable ads that combine great creative and attention-grabbing formats. Adnami exists to democratise high impact technology; to facilitate direct programmatic transactions between buyers and sellers; and to help brands stand out by giving them access to arresting creative opportunities, ready to run at the click of a button.

Results

Adnami grew by 250% in turnover in 2020, and went from three employees in Q2 2020 to 20 employees by April 2021. Adnami’s technology is now live on 10,000+ sites and growing. Every month, we run more than 1,000+ campaigns for clients including Heineken, BMW, American Express, Disney, Lego, Samsung and Red Bull booked by the world’s largest media agency holding groups such as GroupM, Publicis, OMG, Dentsu Aegis etc.

We are increasingly focused on international expansion. In Q4 2020 we closed a seven-figure investment in the company that is earmarked to strengthen our products and to expand our business into new markets. In summer 2020 we opened an office in Stockholm, and in Q1 2021 we set up a three-strong UK team based in London, already seeing some early success partnering with large publishers such as Reach plc and Immediate Media.

So far in 2021, we have broadened our management team with the hire of a CTO and a VP Operations & Business Development at our HQ in Copenhagen. As of April, we’ve also developed and beta tested our new scriptless solution - a game changing way for publishers to adopt our technology lowering the threshold even further. We are now ready to take on Europe with great signs from large publisher groups in Benelux, DACH and France already. We are dedicated to continue our journey of supporting independent publishers in the fight against the duopoly and fake news by giving them the tools and technology to serve amazing creatives in a super seamless and efficient way.
